Adirondack Architectural Heritage (AARCH) will welcome renowned architect Nils Luderowski to AARCH’s Clayton Family Gallery.
Luderowski specializes in architecture and design in an Adirondack vernacular and this exhibition features a uniquely expressive series of drawings from a variety of the architect’s regional projects.
Joshua Whitney of Eastbranch Design notes that “Nils pioneered the ‘New Adirondack Style’ of architecture, an authentic blend of Shingle, Craftsman, Prairie and regional expressions. His structures thoughtfully address natural site features and are carefully scaled. They are rich in texture, color, and have a close relationship with the natural landscape- becoming part of the landscape itself.”
